Why are batteries different sizes?
In 1749 Ben Franklin battery to describe the set of linked capacitors he used to conduct . In the 1800's and 1900's was when batteries became a popular power source. Bigger things needed more power thus needing a bigger battery for more power. Since technology was getting smaller and smaller they needed smaller batteries. In 1924 they decided what the batteries were going to be called.
In my opinion I think batteries are very important. They are in basically in all technology. It is all that we use most of the time. They are in I pods , computers cars and etc. Over time, some of the types of batteries simply died out, because they were no longer used in any products. For example, you won’t find any “B” batteries in most stores today.
Why are batteries in everything?
There has to be something to power everything and that is batteries. Batteries are probably even in headphones and microphones. There are types of batteries that you can't change and most you can change. The most common batteries are AA batteries.
